soft spot x LPV: queer peripheries

The exchange project soft spot x LPV: queer peripheries brings together two queer-feminist art and club collectives based in Hannover and Poznań. Both explore queerness, club culture, dance, and electronic music within their respective local contexts. In the talk, the two groups will share insights into their queer-political strategies, discuss awareness work and ongoing challenges, reflect on the collective as a familial space of retreat, and explore how solidarity and cohesion can be cultivated across national borders today. Later in the evening, LPV will take to the dancefloor with a series of solo performances blending drag, voguing, lipsync, and runway – summoning the dancefloor as a shared, utopian space. The performances will be accompanied and framed by DJ sets from soft spot, Bona, and Natalie Pielok.
